BUT FIRST 80% OF THE MOVIE IS NOT AS EXPECTED
YES , AN INTERESTING END MADE THIS MOVIE WORTH.
EXCELLENT BG MUSIC SCORING , I LOVED THE CINEMATOGRAPHY TOO....

Mankatha (Tamil: மங்காத்தா) is a 2011 Tamil action thriller film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu.[5] It will feature Ajith Kumar in the lead role, starring in his 50th film,[6] along with an ensemble cast including Arjun, Trisha Krishnan, Vaibhav Reddy, Lakshmi Rai, Andrea Jeremiah, Premji Amarenand Anjali. It was produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine Movies [5] while Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the musical score and soundtrack, withSakthi Saravanan working as the cinematographer and the duo Praveen K. L. and N. B. Srikanth as editors.
Mankatha's story is said to revolve around a Mafia gang gambling during the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket season.[7] The film was formally launched in August 2010,[8] with its principal photography beginning on October 25, 2010. Filming was held for more than eight months and took place primarily across Chennai, the Dharavi slum in Mumbai and Bangkok, Thailand. The film released on August 31, 2011 worldwide positive reviews.[9]

If last Impression is lasting , I should say "KO" is a last word for Racy Entertaining Commercial movie (Tamil ) .
I loved the simply , yet loveable performance of JEEVA . Hats of to the director for Stunning Songs , Visually Arresting song Locations , Unlikely , yet convincingly told story line and BRILLIANT , TOUCHY CLIMAX .

Goa,written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. Starring Jai,Vaibhav and Premji Amaran in the lead roles along with Sneha, Piaa Bajpai and the debutant Australian model Melanie Marie in other roles, the film is the first production of Soundarya Rajinikanth's Ocher Studios. The film features music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The best thing i loved of this movie is the SURPRISE CLIMAX , where two STARS come .
This movie is good in the sense , if u want to spend your boring time with some entertainment.

STORY(beware of spoilers): The story of the movie is entirely based in village atmosphere( around tanjavur district). the story begins showing enemity between two villages.Its obvious to guess that hero and heroin belong to different villages . arike( vimal) being a crook, passes time with his friends spending lavish money that he demands at home or by many pranks he plays on villagers. maheswari (helen) is a high school girl, who happens to meet hero by a chance. The first half mainly shows how love blooms between them with constant dose of comedy between village panchayat( 'ganja' karuppu) and hero's gang.The second half , shows how friction arises between hero and heroin due to his friends. hero changes gradually. Their love strengthens. He wins his love by many difficulities, insipte of opposition from heroin 's brother. The story ends with a nice note of how the villages unite.

A solid background, obviously talented actors and beautiful settings, not to mention Santhosh Sivan and V Manikandan's scintillating cinematography, Sreekar Prasad's slick editing, A R Rahman's neat score (both background and songs), Sameer Chanda's brilliant art-work, one can expect an epic .

Mani Ratnam's ‘Raavanan’ is going to be first really global Tamil film in history. The film has raised a lot of expectations even in international markets. The film which was made in a budget of Rs. 120 crores is reportedly has sold for Rs. 350 crores. International distribution giants Sony Pictures and Reliance Big Picture have bought the world rights of ‘Raavanan’.
According to some trade pundits ‘Raavanan’ will earn around Rs. 550 crores given the internationally popular stars and technicians in the credit. Mani Ratnam, Aishwarya Rai, A R Rahman and Resul Pookutty are international names that will generate interest from global audience.
Boosting the prospects are the exhibitors of Indian films in Europe and America who have offered unconditional co-operation to make ‘Raavanan’ the biggest ever Indian film in the world.

100 രൂപ മുടക്കി മള്ട്ടി സ്റ്റാര് ചിത്രമായ പോക്കിരിരാജ ബ്യാംഗലുര് സാംഗീത്ത് തിയറ്ററില് നിന്നു കണ്ടു. ഒറ്റവാക്കില് പറഞ്ഞാല്, നിരാശപ്പെടുത്തിയില്ല.എന്നു മാത്രമല്ല, പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചതിനപ്പുറത്തേക്ക് ഉദയകൃഷ്ണ-സിബി കെ.തോമസ് ടീമിന്റെ തിരക്കഥയും നവാഗതനായ വൈശാഖിന്റെ സംവിധാനവും പോയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

The story is not fully entertaining as previous Selva Raghavan films , but must see.

Unnai Pol Oruvan & Eenadu(Telungu version ),remake of the film "a Wednesday" ,is a good film. It is a relevant movie made in unique format ( Red One Camera).
‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ is a story that revolves around a calamitous day where the entire city is shook with a single call from that starts off the thriller drama. A stranger (Kamal) over the top of under-construction building’s terrace makes a call to city commissioner (Mohan Lal) stating that he has planted bombs at various parts of the city.
Now, it’s up to city commissioner for settling down the backbreaking task. Well, the stranger wants to release 4 most wanted terrorists held as prisoners by the government or else he would blast the entire city.
Since, it’s too difficult to go around the city and detonate the bombs, the police department has to go flexible over the stranger’s offer.
But when the terrorists are released, there’s something more shocking for the cops and as well the audiences
I loved the IIT guy who come toaid the police in decoding the strangers' calls .
A MOVIE that makes you happy.
